Memset, the award-winning dedicated web hosting provider and member of the Surrey Chamber of Commerce was last night announced as the regional winner of the Microsoft Award for "The Impact of Technology on Your Business" in the South East for the British Chambers of Commerce, Chamber Awards 2007.
The Chamber Awards 2007, now in its fourth year is organised by The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) and Microsoft and was developed to recognise outstanding business achievement within the UK business community.
The judges were impressed with Memset's innovative approach of taking existing open source technologies and adapting them to make their business operate more efficiently.
Memset will now go through to national judging and the chance to win the top prize of £25,000. The National Winners of the Chamber Awards 2007 will be announced at a Gala Dinner and award ceremony at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on November 29th, 2007.
