British provider of cloud & dedicated hosting solutions, Memset is delighted to announce they won the Best Dedicated Hosting award for the second year running at the 2016 ISPA Awards held in London last night.
This award is one of the most prestigious industry awards to win as the judges take it very seriously and examine the service based on a number of criteria including: pricing and value for money, account management & hours of support, variety of services on offer, guaranteed uptime and server redundancy, patch management and value-added services.
On top of that, all dedicated hosting entrants underwent independent detailed technical testing of their systems over a period of several months, having download speed and availability measurements taken.
Kate Craig-Wood, Managing Director of Memset, said: "Winning the 2016 ISPA 'Best Dedicated Hosting' award for a second year running is wonderful, and a testament to my staff's commitment and hard work. We have all worked hard towards, and invested heavily in, our goal of being Britain's best high-security hosting provider. This accolade is therefore hugely important to us.”
“We’re proud to be a British-based business and thank the ISPAs for all their hard work in helping to promote the UK’s leading internet suppliers. We were particularly pleased to be recognised for some of our technical and environmental efforts which are all too often overlooked.”
ISPA was established in 1995 and currently has 200 members, and is the voice of the UK internet industry to Government, parliament, regulators and the media.
ISPA Secretary General Nick Lansman said: “Memset’s response times, technical support options and resilience impressed the judges, as did having IPv6 as standard and their commitment to being carbon neutral, is why Memset scooped this award for the 2nd year running.”
The award adds to a recent run of recognition for Memset, with the cloud hosting provider also winning a Highly Commended Award for Networking Infrastructure at the Computing Vendor Excellence Awards 2016 and a finalist in the 2016 Surrey Super Growth Awards.
