Guildford, Surrey – 10 September 2012 – Award-winning British Cloud provider, Memset®, has today announced gaining IL2 Pan Government Accreditation (PGA) for its Miniserver VM® virtual servers. Following the accreditation, Memset is now able to supply IL2 Cloud services to the public sector through the CloudStore.
The accreditation scheme has been introduced to simplify the current processes that public bodies have to go through to check the standards of potential Cloud services suppliers thus making it easier for buyers to identify accredited providers.
Kate Craig-Wood, MD of Memset said: “The new 'badges' on the CloudStore website will help bring much needed confidence to buyers who can see instantly which providers have been assessed by information assurance body CESG and approved to operate to a required level.”
Memset’s accreditation is part of the company’s broader strategy, where it will be seeking IL3 accreditation for all their services, including Cloud storage product, Memstore, as well as the company’s dedicated server solutions.
